A purchasing and reference site for battery management systems. The premise is narrow: publish a specification only when it has been checked against the manufacturer's document for that exact model.
Four things this site will not do
These are the only claims on this page that do not depend on a document we are still waiting for. Everything else about the operator is stated as pending.
- No specification is inferred from a model number
- Model strings from different generations look similar and describe different ratings. A value is published only when the current document for that exact model states it.
- No certification logo until the certificate is checked
- Holder, scope, number and validity are checked first. A logo is a claim about a third party's assessment, not a design element.
- No review, rating or sales counter without data we hold
- Invented reviews and counters are the fastest way to lose the one thing a technical shop actually sells — being believed on specs.
- No plausible number where the value is unknown
- Where a value is unknown, the site says pending instead. A wrong number is worse than a visible gap, because it is acted on.
Company details pending written confirmation
Describing the relationship with the manufacturer before the authorisation exists in writing would misrepresent it. So the fields are listed and left blank rather than phrased generously.
